This coffee comes to us from the Adado washing station which is near the village of Shara in the district of Guanga. Located in the Gedeo Zone this coffee and washing station is named after the local tribe, Adado. This region comprises of 7000 farmers all contributing to 8 mills and collectively exporting 20-30 containers annually. Coffee is selectively handpicked and delivered to collection points where great care is taken to seperate out any over/underripe and damaged beans before consolidation with other lots for the trip to the wet mill. This Washed process coffee is Heirloom Yirgacheffe varietal and is grown at an altitude just over 1800 masl.
