This coffee comes to us from the Nemba washing station, Kayanza Province in Burundi. Built in 1991 in the Kayanza Commune, the washing station lies at an elevation just over 1800 masl and collects cherry from over 2600 local farmers spread over 15 neighbouring colonies. During harvest season Nemba processes over 400 tonnes of coffee. This lot is processed using the washed method and consists of mixed arabica varietals.
